The most common mistake: a 16-inch MacBook Pro is 35.57 × 24.81 cm and does not fit bags labelled "up to 15 inch" — it sits in the gap between the 15" and 17" labels most makers use. Bombata's 15-16 size takes it with about 7 cm to spare.

Does a 16-inch MacBook Pro fit a Bombata?

Yes — size 15-16. The laptop is 35.57 × 24.81 cm and the bag is 43 × 33 cm externally, so there is roughly 7 cm of clearance. Size 13-14 is not rated for it.

I have a 17-inch laptop. What are my options?

Only two Bombata lines are made in size 17 — Classic and All Black — which is 11 products. Everything else stops at 15-16.

Which bag can I take as cabin baggage?

The Urbanite Caracas, at 40 × 30 × 15–20 cm. It is designed to pass carry-on gauges, including low-cost airlines, and the main compartment unzips for an extra 5 cm of depth when you need it. It opens flat like a suitcase and still carries a 16" laptop. Airline limits differ, so check your carrier's current dimensions before you fly.

What is the difference between 13-14 and 15-16?

5 cm of width, 4 cm of height and 100 grams: 38 × 29 × 7 at 0.7 kg versus 43 × 33 × 7 at 0.8 kg. Depth is identical, so both carry the same amount of paper and cables.

Can I put a laptop in the Bogota tote?

No. Bogota has no padded laptop compartment. For a bag that takes a laptop, look at the Bombata 13-14 or a Denver backpack.

Measure the closed laptop: width and depth in centimetres. If width is under 33 cm choose 13-14; under 37 cm choose 15-16; above that choose 17. Anything within 1 cm of the limit is worth trying in a store before buying.
